Il volume è completato da un'ampia appendice in cui figurano, fra l'altro, tutti i dati tecnici delle differenti versioni prodotte dal 1966 al 1985 (catalogazione di tutti i modelli prodotti, schede tecniche, dati di produzione e numeri di telaio).

The volume is complemented by a large appendix including, among other things, all the technical data of the different versions produced from 1966 to 1985 (cataloging of all models produced, technical data sheets, production data and chassis numbers).

Monograph dedicated to the Fiat X1/9, a car designed by Nuccio Bertone and entirely built at the Grugliasco Carrozzeria in 1972 around the 1300 Fiat 128 Sport. The main evolutionary stages of this small sports car, which at its beginnings presented itself as a car with very advanced technology content, has been traced through the numerous special editions introduced until the late 1970s. The volume is complemented by an accurate and detailed guide to the restoration.
Fiat X1/9 Gold Portfolio 1973-1989
This car was the first Fiat designed specifically for the American market. The 1290cc engine from the 128 CoupT was fitted just ahead of the rear wheels. The removable top slotted into the front luggage compartment using a lot of the space but there was a small compartment in the rear. Although launched in 1972 it was not officially available in the UK until January 1977 and in October 1978 the Strada's 1500cc engine and five-speed gearbox were fitted. Phased out in 1984 it was re-introduced in 1986 with electric windows and a special edition which marked the end of production in 1989. This is a book of road & comparison tests, spec. & technical data, driver's impressions, buying second-hand and model changes. Models covered include, 1300, 1500, VS and Bertone.
