Panther Gold Portfolio 1972-1990
The company was set up in 1972 with its first product the J72 in the style of a Jaguar SS100. It was built on a tubular frame and with modern Jaguar drive-train and running gear. Next came the De Ville in 1975 styled this time after a Type 46 Bugatti, also with Jaguar running gear. The mainstream product was the Lima based on a Vauxhall floorpan. There were other, limited production, models. In 1979 financial problems caused a buy out by South Korean businessman Young C Kim. The company continued production with the Kallista and the Solo.
