Holden 1948-1962
Australia's Holden company merged with GM in the 1930s. The first Holden motorcar was unveiled in 1948 and became a best seller within three years. The sedan was followed in 1951 by the coupe utility. The first model change came in October 1953 with the face lifted FJ followed by the FE in 1956 and another major restyle came in 1960 with the FB series.
